Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a PRN float role. You will prepare patients, assist clinicians, and maintain sterile exam rooms across multiple clinics in the local region. Travel as needed is required.

The ideal candidate has a CMA credential, CPR/BLS preferred or obtainable within 30 days, and at least 1 year in OB/GYN. Strong communication, organizational skills, and EMR proficiency (eCW) are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant with CPR and/or BLS preferred or obtainable within 30 days.
• Experience in OB/GYN setting preferred (minimum 1 year).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment and testing.
• Restock, sterilize exam rooms and lab area per policies.
• Measure and document vital signs and medical history.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections as applicable per policy.
• Educate patients and relay messages between patients and providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional interaction with staff and patients.
• Travel to clinics within the local region as needed.
• Support team through required meetings and duties.
