Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Store General Manager to lead operations and marketing for the Travel Store/Convenience Store. You will staff, train, supervise, and drive profitability while maintaining customer service excellence and a positive store culture.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (associates/bachelor’s preferred) and 3+ years of supervisory experience in related settings; proficiency with MS Office and POS systems is expected.

• Strong planning, budgeting and P&L understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and marketing for the Travel Store/Conve­nience Store.
• Staffing, training and development; supervise staff.
• Recruit, hire and retain high-quality team members.
• Respond to customer concerns and solve problems.
• Manage revenue, profit, product, service and facilities.
• Oversee payroll, inventory and documentation for compliance.
• Adhere to safety standards and vendor relations guidelines.
• Assist with duties of hourly associates as needed.
