TravelCenters of America seeks a Store Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations and marketing functions of the Travel Store/Convenience Store. You will staff, train and supervise the team, and work to improve profitability while delivering fast and friendly service to travelers.

Ideal candidates bring high school diploma or GED, supervisory experience in convenience store or travel center environments, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• Supervisory experience in convenience store, truck service, travel center, or related industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to lead and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to meet performance standards and improve store profitability.
• Coach and manage staff according to company policy; provide feedback.
• Recruit, hire, train and retain high-quality team members.
• Help achieve financial objectives through effective management of people, products, services and facilities.
• Follow safety standards and vendor relationship guidelines.
• Fill in for hourly associates when needed.
