Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Saint Petersburg, FL. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring safety in a fast-paced lab.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications. Travel benefits and comprehensive benefits are provided by Fusion.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Preferred: Valid Radiologic Technologist license per state regulations
• Preferred: PALS or ENPC certifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup per infection control protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and equipment logs
• Participate in inventory management and ensure proper storage of instruments and meds
• Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital policies
