Job summary

The Cath Lab Technologist role with Fusion Medical Staffing supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a travel 13-week assignment in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, assist physicians, and ensure safety and quality of care in a high-pressure lab environment.

Required qualifications include recent Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification. Travel benefits and a supportive clinical team await.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment and maintain sterile technique.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and infection control.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
