Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Sun City Center, FL. The technologist will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure patient safety with imaging and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, maintaining sterile technique, documenting data, and collaborating with the team in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate and maintain imaging, contrast injectors, and monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and infection control.
