Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Orlando, FL. The role involves preparing patients, assisting during cardiovascular procedures, and maintaining sterile technique in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS credentials. Travel benefits and a supportive clinical team are offered.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment and contrast injectors; maintain sterile technique.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup according to protocols.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis; document patient data and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety and hospital policies; ensure patient safety.
