Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Dothan, AL. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and maintaining sterile technique in a fast-paced lab environment.

Required qualifications include 1 year of Cath Lab tech experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications. Preferred radiology licensure and additional certificates may be needed.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and infection control procedures.
• Maintain documentation including patient records and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and storage of sterile instruments and medications.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
