Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Pensacola, FL. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, assisting physicians during interventional procedures, and ensuring patient safety in a high-pressure cardiovascular lab.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel positions include competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and 40-hour weeks with day shifts.

Competenze

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Mansioni

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup; uphold infection control and procedural protocols.
• Maintain documentation: patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies; ensure proper storage of sterile instruments and medications.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital safety guidelines.
