Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. The role requires 40 hours per week, days shift, and opportunities to work in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of Cath Lab experience and current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications; preferred licensing and related credentials are welcome. Travel benefits and competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab tech experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents during procedures; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control throughout procedures.
• Document imaging data, patient records, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory and ensure proper storage of sterile instruments.
