Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a traveling Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Homewood, Alabama. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepping patients and equipment, and maintaining patient safety throughout high-pressure cases.

Requirements include one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification and ACLS.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification; preferred Radiologic Technologist license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by handling catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Document patient data, imaging results, and equipment usage.
