Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Tech with 2+ years of EP lab experience and RCIS/RCES certification to join a high-volume EP lab team in a travel-friendly role. On-site assignments with a 9-room lab and a 4x10 schedule.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, lead placement, and arrhythmia management, with Epic EMR experience essential. Travel and housing support provided, with eligibility across Cone Health campuses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years EP lab experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• RCIS/RCES certification required (License required if applicable).
• Experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, LAA closure, pacemaker insertion, tilt table studies.

Responsibilities

• Operate with 9-room EP lab delivering ablations, implants, and LAA closures.
• Work in high-level multidisciplinary team focused on patient outcomes.
• Provide equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site prep, and sterile field management.
• Assist with 3D imaging, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and vascular closure systems as needed.
• Work with central venous access, Watchman procedures beneficial, and Watchman procedures beneficial.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Tech with 2+ years of experience and RCIS/RCES certification to join a high-volume EP lab team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• RCIS and RCES certification required (License required if applicable)
• Experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage closure, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies required
• Cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)

Responsibilities

• 9-room lab with 2 very active EP labs performing ablations, implants, and LAA closures
• High-level multidisciplinary team environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Floating required as needed, including to any Cone Health campus
• Epic EMR experience required
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Responsibilities include equipment set up, EKG lead placement, access site prep, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, and maintaining sterile field during procedures
• Experience with 3D imaging, fluoroscopy (Philips, Siemens), ultrasound, and vascular closure systems preferred
• Experience with central venous access, PICC line care, and Watchman procedures beneficial
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local rates apply
• RTO must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
