Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an EP Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Georgia. The candidate should have at least 1 year of EP lab experience and hold BLS/ACLS certification along with ARRT R or CCI RCIS/RCES credentials.

Experience with Epic is preferred, and Pyxis is a plus. Responsibilities include performing EP studies, ablation, mapping, cardioversion, pacemaker/AICD insertion, tilt table studies, and maintaining sterile field across two procedure rooms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT R or CCI RCIS/RCES certification required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Charting system experience required
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Electrophysiology Lab with 2 procedure rooms
• Adult to geriatric patient population
• 1:5 patient ratio, 8-12 patients per day
• Uses Epic and Pyxis systems
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend required unless specified
• On-call required (no weekend call); stay past shift when on call
• EP studies, cardiac ablation, mapping, cardioversion, AICD/pacemaker insertion, tilt table studies
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT R or CCI RCIS or CCI RCES certification required
• Charting system experience required (any system)
• Skills include EP studies, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and function as room circulator or scrub role maintaining sterile field
• Competency with middle adult and older adult age-specific care
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Electrophysiology Lab setting with 2 procedure rooms
• Adult to geriatric patient population
• 1:5 patient ratio with 8-12 patients per day
• Uses Epic and Pyxis systems
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
• Rare floating possible within facility and scope of practice
• On-call required (no weekend call), but must stay past shift hours if on call that day
• Responsibilities include EP studies, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD/pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies
• Follows isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, finalized at time of submission
• RTO blackout dates include Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• No RTO requests permitted during orientation week
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
