Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of cath lab experience and current fluoroscopy certification for a cardiac catheterization unit.

Responsibilities include assisting with cath procedures, PCI and IR cases, scrubbing in for interventional radiology, and maintaining lead safety. Local candidates are encouraged to apply; DOB/SSN required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cath lab experience required.
• ARRT certification required.
• NJ ARRT license preferred, license required if applicable.
• Must know how to operate C-Arm machine and perform routine lead maintenance.
• RCIS competencies.

Responsibilities

• Cath lab / interventional procedures support in cardiac catheterization unit.
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• On-call coverage 4 days a week with 9+ shifts monthly and 30-minute response time.
• Weekend call coverage on Saturday and Sunday (24 hours).
• Assist with cath procedures, PCIs and IR procedures including Impella and balloon pump.
• Scrub in for IR procedures and assist with cath lab and PCI cases.
• Complete Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP).
• Local candidates accepted.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Catheterization unit setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call coverage required 4 days a week, at least 9 shifts a month, with a 30-minute response time to pages
• Weekend call coverage spans 24 hours on both Saturday and Sunday
• Assists with cath procedures, PCIs, and various IR procedures including Impella and balloon pump insertion, nephrostomy tube insertion, PICC insertion, permacath insertion, pacemaker insertion, and cerebral thrombectomy
• Responsibilities include scrubbing in for interventional radiology procedures and assisting with cath lab and PCI cases
• Completion of Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required, which can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or a free CDC resource
