Qualifications

• 2+ years as Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Tech, including 1 year in IR or Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NY license with injection certification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital Cardiac Cath Lab within Cardiology.
• 8-hour days with 1-hour lunch; 35 hours per week guaranteed.
• Utilize Allscripts for EMR/charting; on-call rotation.
• Weekend/holiday on-call coverage may apply.

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Technologist, including at least 1 year in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• RCIS certification via CCI or ARRT registration
• New York State License as an X-ray Technologist with certification to inject per section 89.40 of part 89 (license required if applicable)
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting within the Cardiology department's Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• 8-hour day shifts with a 1-hour lunch, totaling 35 guaranteed hours per week
• Uses Allscripts as the EMR/charting system
• No nurse aides on the unit
• Rotating on-call requirement
• Weekend coverage is possible on-call basis only
• Holiday coverage is on-call only
