American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 1+ year of experience to support Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology labs in a split lab setting in Conyers, GA.

The role features 4x10 hour days (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with call 9–10 days per month. First-time travelers and locals are welcome, with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required.
• RN license GA or compact license at consideration.
• Experience with venous access and central line care.
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures and PCI/PTCA.
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures.
• Proficient in EKG lead placement and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Ability to maintain sterile field and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Split lab rotating between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology.
• Fulfill day shift schedule 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Call required 9–10 days per month, including weekends.
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, vascular, and IR procedures.
• Handle equipment setup, room circulation, scrubbing, and patient monitoring.

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a split lab rotating through Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required
• RN license required if applicable, GA or compact license required at time of consideration
• Experience with venous access, central line care, and vascular access procedures
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including left/right heart catheterization, PCI, and PTCA
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, and stent placement
• Skilled in EKG lead placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and recognition of arrhythmias
• Ability to maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and isolation precautions

Responsibilities

• Split lab rotating between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours) from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required 9 to 10 days per month, including weekends
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Responsibilities include equipment setup, room circulating, scrubbing, and accurate patient monitoring
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract, all RTO must be finalized at time of consideration
• No RTO can be requested during orientation week
• Holiday coverage required per facility policy: one or two major holidays must be worked with no RTO exceptions; if three holidays occur, one holiday RTO may be considered
• Former Piedmont employees must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers previously cancelled or not returned to a Piedmont facility must complete one assignment elsewhere before reapplying
