Job summary

American Traveler in Hickory, NC is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 1+ year of experience in interventional radiology, vascular, cardiac cath or EP procedures. The role supports a Heart and Vascular department and requires ARRT/RCIS, BLS and ACLS within specified timelines.

Shifts are 5x8 hours, typically 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call rotation about every third week. New grads may be considered for training and local candidates are acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular program.
• Current ARRT or RCIS registration.
• BLS certification; AHA certification within 3 months if not current.
• ACLS certification within 1 year.
• 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology/vascular/cardiac cath/EP.
• 2 years of overall experience preferred; new grads considered.
• Charting system experience.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a Heart and Vascular department.
• Work 5x8 hour days, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
• On-call rotation approximately every third week.
• Qualified new grads may be trained.
• Facility accepts local candidates at the same bill rate.
• Candiates may float within the hospital.
• Facility does not allow current or former staff to return as travelers.
