Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 1+ year of acute care or cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology experience for a cardiac catheterization lab position.

This on-site role at Memorial Hospital network offers 4x10 hour day shifts, on-call requirements, EP/Cath lab duties, Epic charting, and opportunities for travel assignments. Local candidates within 75 miles may qualify for reduced rates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology.
• Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certification.
• Valid ARRT (Radiography) or RCIS credential; license if applicable.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with equipment setup, sterile field, and monitoring.
• Experience with vascular closure systems, hemodynamic monitoring.
• Familiar with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures (LHC, PCI, PTCA, stent, pacemaker).

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting
• Patient ratio 1:1
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, various days of week
• On-call required one day per week and one weekend per month, subject to change per unit needs
• May float between Memorial Hospital North and Memorial Central per unit needs
• Uses Epic for charting
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Responsibilities include room circulator duties, scrubbing for procedures, and maintaining equipment and inventory
• Scrubs provided
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate if residing within 75 miles of the facility
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during select weeks
• No blocked scheduling requests allowed
• Completion of facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment

• Valid ARRT (Radiography) or RCIS credential, license required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency with procedural responsibilities including equipment set up, prep access site, sterile field maintenance, and accurate monitoring
• Experience with vascular closure systems, hemodynamic monitoring, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Familiarity with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures such as left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, and pacemaker insertion
