Wachter, Inc. is accepting applications for an Access Control Service Technician to work at various retail locations across the United States.

We seek self-motivated technicians who can work independently, install and service Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion Alarm Systems, travel as needed, and help keep customers satisfied. Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarm Systems in commercial environments
• Experience with Fire Alarm Systems is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and site maps
• Experience with voice and data cabling is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency with smartphones, computers, email, spreadsheets, and internal systems
• Possession of basic low-voltage/telecom tools, PPE, and reliable transportation during training

Responsibilities

• Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarm Systems
• Running low voltage and composite cables in commercial buildings, including conduit work and concrete drilling
• Cutting in door strikes and maglocks as needed
• Completing all wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet customer satisfaction and contractual requirements
• Collaborating with Installation Team Leads or Project Managers to manage schedules and equipment delivery
• Conducting system tests and troubleshooting to ensure full functionality and compliance with local, state, and federal codes
• Providing technical escalation support both on-site and remotely
