Job summary

Wachter is seeking an Access Control Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarm Systems at commercial locations across the United States. This full-time role involves extensive travel and on-site work responsibilities.

Applicants should read blueprints, manage low-voltage cabling, and deliver excellent customer service. A one-week, in-person orientation in Lowell, Arkansas is required, after which a company vehicle may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarm Systems in commercial environments
• Experience with Fire Alarm Systems is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and site maps
• Experience with voice and data cabling is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarm Systems
• Running low voltage and composite cables in commercial buildings, including conduit work
• Cutting in door strikes and maglocks as needed
• Completing all wiring and equipment installations to meet customer satisfaction and contractual requirements
• Collaborating with Installation Team Leads or Project Managers to manage schedules and equipment delivery
• Conducting system tests and troubleshooting to ensure full functionality and compliance
• Providing technical escalation support on-site and remotely
