Wachter, Inc. is accepting applications for an Access Control Service Technician to work at various retail locations across the United States.

We seek self-motivated, reliable technicians who can work independently and troubleshoot to complete jobs. Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems in commercial environments.
• Experience with fire alarm systems is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and site maps.

Responsibilities

• Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarm Systems
• Running low voltage and composite cables in commercial buildings, including conduit work and concrete drilling
• Cutting in door strikes and maglocks as needed
• Completing all wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet customer satisfaction and contractual requirements
• Collaborating with Installation Team Leads or Project Managers to manage schedules and equipment delivery
• Conducting system tests and troubleshooting to ensure full functionality and compliance with local, state, and federal codes
• Providing technical escalation support both on-site and remotely
