• Assesses and provides teaching based on patient and family needs.
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement and research activities.
• Uses resources to provide quality, cost effective patient care.
• Maintains clinical competencies per credentialing standards and BLS/ACLS/PALS.
• Identifies growth needs and participates in educational opportunities.
• Serves as a role model/preceptor to new graduates and less experienced staff.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibility as delegated.
