Job summary

Rhode Island Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care under the Clinical Manager. You will lead safe nursing activities, guide ancillary staff, and coordinate care from admission to discharge with an emphasis on aging and cultural patterns.

The role requires RI RN licensure (or Compact) and a Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred. Night shift, every-other weekend/holiday, and a focus on teaching patients and families are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island RN license or compact licensure.
• Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred.
• Ability to provide care across lifespan with cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and leadership by delegating to staff.
• Evaluate patient care and participate in quality improvement.
• Coordinate discharge planning with patient, family and team.
