Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care.
Leads and delegates safe nursing care activities.
Evaluates care effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Collaborates with the healthcare team, patient, family and community services regarding discharge planning.
Assesses and provides education based on patient and family needs.
Participates in unit-based quality improvement and research activities.
