Job summary

Education includes ADN with possible BSN preference; GPEN and diploma options are considered for internal candidates. BLS and ongoing certifications are required as per area standards.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• GPEN considered for Brown Health Medical Group.
• Diploma may be considered for current employees with 1 year of service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments per policies and orders.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to clinical changes.
• Educate patients and families about care and safety.
