RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Coordinator RN for the Trauma Services department at the Main Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. This per diem/day shift role requires a NJ RN license, BLS, 5 years RN experience, and advanced certifications.

The position offers growth within a safety-focused, collaborative environment with opportunities for clinical ladder advancement and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• National Board Certification in area of specialty and ACLS required within 6 months of employment.
• 2-3 years of Performance Improvement experience.
• Trauma care, PI, management principles, resource management, communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely, coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding and readiness for next care phase.
• Document accurately in the EMR to support continuity and safety.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and effective team communication.
• Support a collaborative, accountable team culture and ongoing professional growth.
