Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey seeks a Clinical Coordinator RN for Trauma Services to lead the Performance Improvement program. You will coordinate, assess, and implement PI activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care within the Trauma department.

Requirements include NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, a BSN, and 5+ years of RN experience with PI exposure. Master’s degree preferred and National Board Certification. Full-time, day shift, with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• National Board Certification in area of specialty; ACLS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate the Trauma PI program in Trauma Services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ACS CT, NJ DoH).
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and advocate for patients.
• Provide evidence-based medications and care with strong clinical judgment.
• Document accurately in the EMR and support smooth transitions of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely decisions.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and professional growth.
