Job summary

Orlando Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Scheduling/Registration Specialist to register and schedule diagnostic and interventional procedures with accuracy and efficiency. You will collect patient demographics, verify insurance, schedule and reschedule as needed, and coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• One (1) year of clinical registration, scheduling or closely related experience required.
• Knowledge of DDE, Passport, Omega, Orbit/Nova/ESI systems (may not be required in a practice setting).

Responsibilities

• Efficiently gathers and inputs patient demographic information, insurance verification/authorization and schedules, reschedules and cancels multiple diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Communicates prep information, arrival time and location to the patient.
• Inputs and distributes charge management process daily.
• Maintains regular punctual attendance and adheres to policies.
• Communicates with Patient Access and clinical departments regarding registration and scheduling issues.
