Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7/365 trauma unit setting. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs per policy.

The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, with leadership in quality improvement and patient safety within a high reliability organization framework. Shift: Day.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio and/or a compact state.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessment.
• Outcomes identification/planning based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems.
• Implementation/evaluation of nursing interventions with documentation.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Operations: perform duties with focus on safety and reliability as an HRO.
