Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care in our Trauma Unit 2, with night shifts and a 36-hour weekly schedule. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessments, care coordination, and evaluating responses to interventions, while upholding safety and best practices in a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing in Ohio and/or a multi-state compact license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Nursing license must be active and in good standing with the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families across acute care settings.
• Perform ongoing health status assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement care plans with multidisciplinary teams and update as needed.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust plans to meet outcomes.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance clinical quality and safety.
