Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Trauma Unit 2. Provides general nursing care across continuum, day shift, 36 hours weekly.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, with emphasis on safety and quality under High Reliability Organization standards.

Candidates must hold Ohio RN license, BLS, BSN and be in good standing; the unit operates 24/7/365.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification required as part of the role.
• BSN required for employment within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Perform initial, ongoing health status assessments as applicable to patients.
• Document planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Lead process improvement activities to improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to revise plans of care.
• Maintain emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.
