Job summary

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a Trauma Program Registrar to support data collection, coding, and reporting for the ANMC trauma services. Under the Trauma Program Manager, you will collect and analyze patient care outcomes, maintain the trauma registry, and prepare monthly and annual reports for ACS verification and state requirements.

This role emphasizes data‑driven quality improvement and collaboration with clinical departments to enhance trauma care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Non-supervisory – less than two years in nursing, medical records, hospital coding, health-science field, or related program work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred: Trauma Registrar II credentials and related familiarity with trauma registry.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data regarding patient care outcomes and supports trauma registry data entry.
• Maintains the trauma registry and contributes to monthly and annual reporting.
• Supports ACS verification preparations and interdepartmental data needs.
• Collaborates with clinical teams to design data-driven quality improvement initiatives.
