Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center seeks a RN registrar to abstract data from medical records for the Alaska Trauma Registry and support reporting and validation activities. The role collaborates with the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director to ensure accurate data and effective trauma care delivery.

Required qualifications include RN license in Alaska, BSN, and relevant trauma certifications (TNCC/ATCN/ENPC, BLS, ACLS, PALS). Prior trauma registry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with Alaska RN license.
• Candidates should hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC/ATCN/ENPC certifications or obtain them within stated timelines.
• Trauma Registry experience and knowledge of data abstraction from medical records are essential.

Responsibilities

• Abstract trauma patient data from medical records for Alaska Trauma Registry entry.
• Support report generation and data validation for injury research and quality improvement.
• Coordinate with Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director to monitor trauma system elements.
