Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage is seeking a part-time Trauma Registrar to abstract data from medical records for entry into the Alaska Trauma Registry. You will support report generation and data validation to aid injury research, quality improvement, and better trauma care.

Under the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director, you will help monitor trauma system elements and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care within our comprehensive health

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Alaska RN license upon hire.
• BLS ACLS PALS (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• TNCC/ATCN/ENPC/Stop the Bleed Instructor within 1 year of hire.
• TCRN within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Abstract trauma patient data from medical records for Alaska Trauma Registry entry.
• Support report generation and data validation for injury research and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with Trauma Medical Director and Trauma Program Manager to coordinate trauma system elements.
