Building Location: Building B - St Marys Medical Center Department: 2005300 TRAUMA PROGRAM - SMMC HOSP Job Description: Provides support to the Trauma Program for their Quality Improvement Plan. The Trauma registrar works under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager and the Trauma Program Medical Director. Requires excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional working relationships with individuals of various backgrounds inside and outside the organization. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with physicians, co-workers, and others. Education Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Health Information Administration or equivalent in another healthcare related field
• Experience working in a healthcare setting with clinical, quality, or financial systems. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with the Trauma Registry database

Hybrid Nature:

• Approximately 3 days onsite, 2 days remote weekly plus required days onsite for meetings
• Preference will be given to candidates in the Duluth area
