Qualifications

  • Assist with quality control activities and research projects.

Overview

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a full-time remote Certified Tumor Registrar to join our cancer registry team.The Cancer Registrar identifies reportable neoplasms; collects clinical data; codes and enters medical information into the Cancer Registry database and perform lifetime follow up to provide cancer incidence, treatment and outcome information for improvement activities; and assists with administrative planning, marketing, support programs and research activities. Assist with quality control activities, information requests, quality improvement studies and research projects as requested.


Responsibilities

  • Data coding, Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology,
  • AcoS-FORDS coding, ICD-O coding, Cancer Staging (AJCC, Collaborative and SEER Staging).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Associate degree
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Tumor Registry
  • Certification as a Cancer Registrar from the National Cancer Center Registry Association
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $82,000.00 /Yr.
