Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, seeks a Trauma Quality Management Coordinator to advance the trauma program and ensure quality standards. You will coordinate the quality management program, assist with registry data entry, and provide education to EMS, nursing, and physicians.

The role works with program leadership to align COMAR standards, participate in injury-prevention initiatives, and support continuous improvement across trauma care teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of Bachelor’s degree in an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in trauma care and at a Level 2 or higher Trauma Center.
• RN licensure in Maryland and TCRN certification within 1 year of hire.
• AAAM AIS and ICD-10 coding coursework within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the Trauma Quality Management Program across the continuum of trauma care.
• Assist in data collection for the MD Trauma Registry and Outcome database.
• Provide trauma education to EMS, nursing and physicians.
• Collaborate to ensure COMAR quality management standards are met.
• Develop and implement injury prevention programs for the trauma population at JHBMC.
