Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience at an accredited Level 2 or higher Trauma Center.
• RN license in MD; TCRN certification within one year of hire.
• ACCEPTANCE of trauma data collection and registry requirements.
• Experience with education for EMS, nursing, and physicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Trauma Quality Management Program across the trauma care continuum.
• Enter data into the MD Trauma Registry and Outcome database as indicated.
• Ensure compliance with COMAR Quality Management standards.
• Provide trauma education to EMS, nursing and physicians.
• Develop and implement injury prevention programs specific to the trauma population at JHBMC.
