Job summary

Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital seeks a Quality and Trauma Program Coordinator to lead the trauma program and support hospital-wide quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory readiness. The role collaborates with physicians, nursing leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and ensure adherence to verification standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience with trauma or quality improvement.
• Knowledge of trauma systems and accreditation standards.
• Understanding of TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Light Work: frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Trauma Program, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Coordinate trauma performance improvement activities and registry oversight.
• Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with Trauma Medical Director and leadership to enhance quality and safety.
• Develop and evaluate performance improvement plans and clinical protocols.
• Oversee the DNV Internal Audit Program and corrective actions.
