Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator in Quality Management Services on a full-time, first shift basis. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field preferred.
• Associate degree required with minimum two years of administrative experience in healthcare setting.
• Prior experience in quality, regulatory, and/or compliance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality improvement program with trauma staff.
• Assist Director of Quality in identifying and solving quality issues in the trauma program.
• Ensure compliance with trauma quality initiatives and assist in accreditation readiness.
• Gathers data and prepares reports for submission to regulatory and accrediting agencies.
• Evaluates trauma reports to identify opportunities for improvement and assess risk issues.
• Maintain knowledge of data and regulatory requirements applicable to assigned program areas.
• Participate in staff meetings and provide in-service training to staff and providers as needed.
• Provide IT support in optimizing EMR systems and related clinical tools to align reporting with requirements.
• Exhibits excellent communication and teamwork with internal and external stakeholders.
