Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a Trauma PI Specialist to coordinate performance improvement and patient safety activities for Trauma Services. You will oversee the Trauma Registry, data analysis, trending, and report preparation to guide outreach and education based on data.

The role partners with the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director to develop quality indicators, monitor compliance with standards, and support verification readiness with ACS and OEMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; MSN preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia or compact state.
• CPR certification required.
• TNCC, ENPC, CEN, TCRN preferred.
• Minimum of three years in Emergency/Trauma/education/registry.
• Knowledge of trauma registry and ACS/OT standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trauma performance improvement activities with leadership.
• Oversee trauma registry data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Prepare PI reports for meetings and trend reviews.
• Ensure compliance with trauma program standards and verification readiness.
• Support Trauma Activation as needed and assist education.
• Collaborate with Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director.
