Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS/ENPC certifications are expected by or shortly after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs concurrent review of trauma patients and enters data into the registry to ensure medical necessity and quality.
• Monitors trauma care across inpatient continuum and serves as a resource for clinical practice.
• Conducts data analysis to identify trends and reports findings to committees and leadership for improvement.
• Provides trauma-related education to hospital staff and community stakeholders.
• Supervises data collection, coding, scoring and development of registry processes to support performance improvement and confidentiality.

Education
