Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks a Program Manager - Trauma RN to lead trauma care initiatives and manage the trauma registry. The role includes concurrent rounding on trauma patients, chart review, data collection, and coordinating referrals to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Nevada; BLS/ACLS on hire; TNCC and PALS/ENPC within 12 months.
• Trauma care experience; familiarity with trauma registries and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of age-specific processes of care and data management for quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Performs concurrent review of trauma patients and enters initial data into the database.
• Monitors trauma patient status and implements clinical protocols and practice management guidelines.
• Performs reviews and analyses data for trauma indicators and reports trends to committees and leadership.
• Provides trauma-related education to hospital staff and the community; supports education initiatives.
• Supervise data collection, coding, scoring, and development of the trauma registry to support quality-improvement activities.
