Job summary

Sierra Medical Center seeks a Program Manager - Trauma to oversee concurrent rounding on trauma patients, review of medical records, and management of the trauma registry. You will coordinate data collection, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead performance improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes education for staff and the community, leadership in clinical practice, and collaboration with hospital leadership to maintain Service Excellence standards. A full benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree; bachelor’s preferred.
• Current RN license in Nevada.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS required at hire.
• TNCC; PALS and/or ENPC within 12 months of hire.
• AHA Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform concurrent trauma patient chart review for medical necessity and enter data.
• Monitor trauma patients through inpatient care and apply clinical protocols.
• Analyze trauma data and report trends to committees and leadership.
• Provide trauma education to staff and community; support performance improvement.
• Supervise data collection, coding, scoring, and development of the trauma registry.
