Job summary

The role requires an associate degree in nursing, CA RN license, and 1–2 years trauma/ER experience, with TNCC/BLS/ACLS/PALS upon hire and ongoing education commitments.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an NLN/CCNE-accredited program.
• 1–2 years of clinical trauma/emergency care experience.
• California RN license; NV license upon hire; TNCC/BLS/ACLS/PALS required.
• Employer supports RQI for BLS/ACLS/PALS within set timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring trauma patient care per clinical guidelines.
• Collect and disseminate data to trauma leadership for improvement.
• Attend trauma meetings to identify education opportunities.
• Develop protocols and clinical practice guidelines for trauma system.
• Participate in Injury Prevention initiatives and education.
• Collaborate with Trauma Program Manager on prevention activities.
• Support program in other process improvement tasks.
• Function as a nursing team member in the Emergency Department.
• Interpret data to prioritize treatment and plan care.
• Communicate discharge instructions and education.
