Job summary

Tahoe Forest Health District in Truckee, CA seeks a part-time Trauma Performance Improvement RN to support quality initiatives, translate data from registries into actionable information, and partner with the Trauma Program Manager to identify, analyze, and improve key performance indicators in the Emergency Department.

The role requires 3 years of trauma/emergency care, California RN license, and TNCC/BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (MICN within 1 year).

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from NLN/CCNE-accredited program or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical trauma/emergency care experience.
• California RN license required.
• TNCC, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; MICN within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring trauma patient care per Tahoe Forest guidelines and improve process outcomes.
• Collect and distribute data to trauma leadership for improvement opportunities.
• Attend trauma-related meetings to discuss process improvement and education.
• Develop and update trauma protocols and clinical practice guidelines.
