Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles seeks a Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator with an RN license and BSN to lead data-driven quality improvements in trauma care.

You will work with the Trauma Medical Director and Trauma Program Manager to coordinate multidisciplinary efforts, track outcomes, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards. Qualifications include a current RN license, BLS/ACLS/TNCC/PALS credentials, and at least three years of trauma experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current TNCC certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum of three (3) years trauma experience.
• Trauma registration certification within three (3) years of hire (CSTR or CAISS).
• Experience with Quality Improvement Process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the multidisciplinary trauma performance improvement program including data collection, analysis, trending and benchmarking.
• Ensure confidentiality and comply with Los Angeles County and ACS standards, state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with Trauma Medical Director and Trauma Program Manager to improve trauma care across service lines.
