Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice.
• BSN from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates performance improvement.
• Oversee injury prevention activities.
• Function in a single or dual role depending on the facility's trauma level.
• Injury prevention education and activities within hospital/community.
• Partner with coalitions for Trauma Center verification/designation.
• Assist Trauma Program staff with performance improvement activities.
• Conducts chart reviews to evaluate quality of care.
• Identify, analyze, and follow up on issues to improve outcomes.
• Prepare case review summaries for leadership.
• Participate in trauma committees and follow up on actions.
