Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Trauma Nurse Coordinator (TNC) to plan, implement, and evaluate the trauma program. The role leads performance improvement activities, coordinates education, and ensures regulatory compliance, serving as a clinical resource across departments.

The TNC collaborates with internal teams and external partners to improve trauma care delivery and patient outcomes, working in a hybrid model with on-site and remote elements as needed by the program.

Qualifikationen

• BSN required.
• Four (4) years of nursing experience, including at least one (1) year in critical care, emergency department, or a trauma program.
• BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association required at hire with at least six months remaining.
• Current RN license in good standing.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and monitor trauma performance improvement activities using PIPS.
• Review patient records to assess care quality and identify improvement opportunities; provide feedback to referring hospitals and EMS partners.
• Investigate and follow up on clinical incidents and safety events while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collect, analyze, and report trauma data to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
