The role emphasizes rapid assessment, skilled interventions, meticulous documentation, and a patient‑centered approach. Strong leadership, communication, and emergency response skills are essential to guide staff through complex cases.

Qualifications

• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 6 months of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of employment start date.
• RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or ACLS Instructor within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent Instructor within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS Instructor within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and shift changes.
• Perform procedures as ordered by medical providers.
• Document care administration in patient records accurately and timeliness.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
